Cookie Policy
Last updated: March 15, 2025. This policy explains how and why FitSupp Analytics uses cookies on our website.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, smartphone, or other device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site.
Cookies are not programs — they cannot carry viruses, install malware, or harm your device. They simply store small pieces of data that help websites remember information about your visit.
2. Types of Cookies We Use
We use the following categories of cookies on FitSupp Analytics:
3. Specific Cookies We Set
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are placed by third-party services that appear on our pages. We do not control these cookies. The third parties we currently use are:
- Google Analytics — We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and usage patterns. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Cloudflare — We use Cloudflare as our content delivery and security provider. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — We load fonts from Google Fonts, which may set cookies. See Google's Privacy Policy.
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or cookies from social media platforms. We do not sell data collected via cookies to any third party.
5. How Long Are Cookies Stored?
Cookies can be either "session cookies" or "persistent cookies":
- Session cookies are temporary and are deleted from your device when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you manually delete them.
Most cookies we use are persistent and expire within 1–2 years, as detailed in the tables above.
6. Cookie Consent
When you first visit FitSupp Analytics, you will see a cookie consent banner. You can choose to:
- Accept cookies — We will set all cookies described in this policy.
- Decline cookies — We will only set strictly necessary cookies required for the website to function.
Your choice is stored in the fsa_cookies_accepted cookie for one year so that we do not ask again on every visit. You can change your preference at any time using your browser settings (see Section 7 below).
7. How to Control Cookies
You have several options for controlling or limiting how cookies are used on your device:
Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings, usually in the "Privacy," "Security," or "Settings" menu. Here are links to cookie management instructions for common browsers:
Please note that if you disable cookies entirely, some features of our website may not function correctly.
Opt-Out Tools
- Google Analytics: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Your Online Choices (EU): Visit youronlinechoices.eu.
8. Do Not Track
Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" feature that signals to websites that you do not want your online activity tracked. Our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals, as there is no universally accepted standard for how websites should interpret these signals. We will update this policy if that changes.
9. Cookies and Personal Data
Some cookies we use may be considered personal data under applicable privacy laws (such as the GDPR) because they can be used to identify you indirectly. Where this is the case, our Privacy Policy also applies. For analytics purposes, we configure Google Analytics to anonymize IP addresses.
We do not use cookies to build personal profiles for marketing purposes, and we do not share cookie data with advertisers.
10. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legislation, or our data practices. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
